XTERRA Dolomiti di Brenta Trail Run 2025
XTERRA Dolomiti di Brenta Trail Run Opens a Historic Month in Northern Italy
More than 1,000 runners joined the XTERRA Dolomiti di Brenta Trail Run in northern Italy, part of the XTERRA Trail Run World Series, to take on courses through the UNESCO-listed Brenta Dolomites. The program featured a Half Marathon (21K) and Full Marathon (45K) as the main races, alongside a 64K ultra distance, offering opportunities for exploration across one of the most iconic mountain landscapes in Europe.
The event also marked the opener to a special month for the off-road community, celebrating 29 years with the XTERRA World Championship on September 27, held beneath the very same Dolomites.

The races culminated on the shores of Lake Molveno, where families and friends gathered to celebrate the finish and share in the occasion. Roberto Failoni, Councillor for Sport and Tourism of the Autonomous Province of Trento, noted that “Trentino once again proves itself to be an exceptional stage for international sport.” Molveno Mayor Lorenzo Donini added that “for us, XTERRA is not just a competition, but an opportunity to showcase Molveno and the Paganella community.”
